Community Subtitles
Welcome to the SpiderFuser Community Translation Program.
Starting with SpiderFuser, we’ve opened the doors for the community to help bring the game to more languages. If you’re fluent in a language and care about doing it right, this is your chance to make SpiderFuser accessible to more players worldwide.
Important: Read all instructions and rules carefully before you start translating.
Pre-requisites
You’ll need the following:

Game dialogue sheet

A spreadsheet editor
Google Sheets is recommended (simple and safe). -
Basic language knowledge and common sense
That’s it. No fancy tools required.
Instructions

Download the dialogue sheet using the link above.
The original file is read-only, so make sure to create a copy before editing. -
Translate the dialogues into your chosen language without modifying the original English text.

Once finished, submit your translated sheet via:
- Email, or
- Discord (visit the
#translationschannel)
You can also find the dialogue files shared directly in our Discord or Telegram communities.
Rules (Read Carefully)
- Preserve the original meaning of every dialogue
- Do not edit the English (key) column
- Do not rename, add, or remove columns
- Avoid machine translations (Keep it natural and fun to see while playing)
- Keep punctuation where necessary
- Stay consistent with terms
- No slang, tags, or memes

This is how your freshly downloaded sheet should look.
⚠️ DO NOT change, rename, or remove anything from the English (key) column.
If you do, the game will fail to read your subtitles correctly and will fall back to English, even if your translation exists.
How to Submit
Before submitting:
- Review your translation at least once
- Check for missing lines, formatting issues, or inconsistencies
Accepted formats:
- CSV
- XLSX
These formats speeds up the review process and significantly increase the chance of your translation being approved and added to the game.

Review & Approval Process
After submission, the dev team will review your translation for:
- Accuracy
- Tone
- Formatting consistency
This usually takes less than 2 days.
Once approved, your translation will be officially included in the game.
Credits
If your translation is approved, one of the developers will contact you and ask how you’d like your name to appear in the game credits.
Can I Translate a Language That Already Exists?
Yes.
If it is an improved or alternate version then it is approved:
- It will be added as a secondary version (e.g.
Language #2) - You will still receive full credit for your submission
Can I Translate Multiple Languages?
Yes.
If you are fluent in multiple languages and do not rely on machine translation, you are free to submit translations for more than one language. Each approved translation will be reviewed independently, and you will receive proper credits for all accepted contributions.
Can I Translate English?
Yes, again.c
You can submit an alternative or improved English translation as a secondary variation. This is useful for:
- Cleaner phrasing
- Better tone consistency
- Regional or stylistic improvements
If approved, it will be added as a separate English variant, and you will still receive full credit for the contribution.
Quality matters more than being first.
